Buffet is good and Crab Legs and Prime Rib night is very good. The comp cut back and the employee reduction are probably the result of casinos not making enough money(reduced attendance) and need to cut back or go broke. This is probaly a good idea anytime but now comp is really stingy so just buy your meals which are a resonable cost. Also don 't plan on getting 'comp' (even for a free buffet) unless you put a lot of your money out. The casino slots seemed to not be returning a normal amount which was most people's opinion. Looked at the indoor swiming pool and it is very nice and large for casino pools. Everybody pleasant but not enthusiastic- just glad to have jobs. Service is good but it is obivious that staff is overwokred ,e.g.,-doing more than one job at reservations, buffet check-in also being seating hostess. We asked for room overlooking casino and could not hear noise from the casino but when the heating air turned on it was a bit noisy for me as a light sleeper- ear plugs are my standard. Rooms for these days were a very good price. Room was very nice and quiet,clean and good size. Viisted Hollywood Casino and stayed at the hotel March 12th to the 15th.
